DIGITAL ART FOR HONG KONG STREETATHON

Szabotage artwork for Hong Kong Streetathon

For the past ten years, HONG KONG STREETATHON has brought runners into the heart of the city, uncovering the unique stories of local communities and leaving lasting impressions on every participant.

This year’s theme, “Run Our Street, Draw Your Story,” includes a special collaboration with British street graffiti artist Gustav Szabotage, who will lead the creation of vibrant artworks that reflect the spirit and stories of STREETATHON. These pieces will express the marathon’s energetic, party-like atmosphere through dynamic, dazzling colours.

Additionally, ten runners from Hong Kong and abroad have been invited to share their personal journeys and milestones through the event.

For the first time, STREETATHON will also collaborate with the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), a member institution of the Vocational Training Council (VTC), inviting students to create ten original artworks inspired by their own stories. These pieces will be showcased during the Runners’ Festival.
