“Driven” Art Exhibition
The Hong Kong Arts Collective (HKARTS) together with Zung Fu announced a collaboration with Affordable Art Fair to present a group art exhibition: “Driven”, showcasing inventive art works from 17 local artists. The exhibition will be held from 28 to 30 May at the Mercedes Benz Brand Centre, Hong Kong Island in Chai Wan for the public to be part of Hong Kong Arts Month and explore our city from different perspectives.
“Driven” aims to encourage and nurture artists to constantly create, inspire and move forward together even during these challenging times. During the isolation of the pandemic lockdown, the local artists who call Hong Kong home have had more time to channel their energy and focus onto their craft and creativity. These artists are the future of the Hong Kong arts scene as well as an integral community that make up the backbone of this amazing city. Inspired by “Chai Wan Mei” Art Festival, HKARTS chose the Mercedes Benz Brand Centre to be the event space as they want to pay tribute to the often neglected and underrated art hub that is Chai Wan.

About Hong Kong Arts Collective:
The Hong Kong Arts Collective is a non-profit organization working to support local art in Hong Kong. Established by local artists for local artists, the Hong Kong Arts Collective’s aim is to act as a stepping stone for both emerging and established artists throughout Hong Kong. We work with over 50 Hong Kong based artists to promote their art. Our key goal is to give local artists opportunities to exhibit and encourage aspiring artists to get involved in the local arts scene. We take the lowest commission possible to support our artists and feed 100 per cent of our profits back into funding future events and exhibitions.
